Welcome to Area 51.1 at kaivana.co.uk.

Area 51.1 is the web presence of a Bristol, UK based currently unemployed software tester & web developer. The purpose of this site is for testing new ideas and features as well as be a place to hold information useful to its author and visitors.
Please be aware that as this site is for experimenting not all features may work.
Site written in XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript using Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.

Update

Welcome to the new and emproved design of Area 51.1.
Over the next few weeks more of the old functionality should return along with some new stuff. All of the old functionality will be completely recoded from scratch using better, streamlined and secure coding.

Time for an update that is not 100% site related. I have hit a small bump with my site which is I can not think of what functionality to add to the site. Well I take a small break and work out what to code next I think I will play some Neverwinter Night 2, it's a game that while I have had it for a long time I have never gotten very far in it and am hoping that will change this time round.

Area 51.1 now uses the Gravatar service to host users avatars, these avatars are shown next to the comments users post. Please note: Avatars are not compatible with the shoutbox.
